Our 2013 revamp is now complete as we have extended the hard flooring into the lamp room at the back of the shop. This was very timely because September at Casa Fina marks the beginning of the Christmas deliveries and that means that, once again we are covered in glitter on a daily basis. Our first 16 boxes of decorations are all hidden away but I can promise you that there are some goodies - both beautiful and amusing. We have many more on the way so look forward to our best ever Christmas window.

New in - wonderful hats

Jackie and I attended the Top Drawer trade fair at Olympia recently and loved these hats. They are all weatherproof, come in a variety of colours and can be sized to fit all heads. Great for dog walking in the country and smart enough for shopping in town. Priced from £40.

BTAA Awards

Last month I was very pleased to be asked to help judge three categories in the BTAA awards - handbags, small leather goods and fashion accessories. I hope that you will be seeing some of the winning entries appearing on Casa Fina's shelves in the coming months.

Salisbury Fashion Week

Casa Fina was delighted to be part of fashion week once again, this time showcasing our beautiful umbrellas on the catwalk.

It was a great evening and as a thank you we offered a 10% discount to all the guests that evening. As my newsletter readers couldn't all attend ( you would now almost have filled the 300 seats!) I am extending this discount to you and it will be available to you all week until Saturday 5th October.

Offer excludes discounted items.

Casa Fina 1983 - 2013

October marks 30 years in Salisbury for Casa Fina and there will be lots of old photos in the next newsletter but I thought I'd start with this one as this is what the shop looked like before we arrived. Neither my mother nor I had any previous business experience and we faced a very steep learning curve so it's great to be celebrating such a landmark birthday.

Introducing - Helen Brunt

In addition to Molly and Hope, our two new Saturday girls, we have another new member of staff. Helen has been a customer at Casa Fina for sometime and will be filling in for me, Jackie, Sharon and Philippa when we are away. Helen says that she loves the variety of stock in the shop and always enjoyed coming in to see what was new. Now she's on the frontline and gets to see everything first as she's the one opening the boxes!

We hope that Helen will very much enjoy being a part of Casa Fina.
